Poison

In the river that’s my blood

In the mountains called my lungs

In the valley of my heart……

Was a poison

It polluted and destroyed the land that was my body



In the bathroom of my house

In the bottle of my hand

Was the poison

That polluted and destroyed the land that was my body



In the graveyard at the church

In the coffin, black and grim,

Was my body laid for rest



Because, in the life that was my hell

Was a sad and lonely girl,

Me
