Wallowing in tears
Going through hard times
Living as though we are invisible
All this we go through but we live on
Hands clasps and head bowed in prayers
Rising for others help
Holding on tight to our lives
Smiling while in sorrows
Never forgetting our dreams, we live on
Giving encouragements when we need one ourselves
Being strong for others when we are weak
Laughing at others when we are a big joke ourselves
Being others cheerleader when we need cheering
Never forgetting who we are we live on
Restoring lost hopes
Rebuilding burnt bridges
Reinforcing our defenses
Rising and burning better than we ever did
We still are here and we live on
With our heads raised high
Looking forward and forging ahead
Living each moment to the fullest
Even though tomorrow is uncertain
Embracing the present and hopes for the future we live on
